| APPLICATION PROCEDURE |
CITECH has in place an application procedure where all students are required to submit their application at least 10 weeks in advance before the start of each intake. All applications must be submitted to the Chartered Institute of Technology Pte Ltd – Student Admission Office before the closing date. Each application package must contain the following materials:
- · A duly completed application form affixed with one (1) passport sized photograph.
- · Proof of proficiency of English (IELTS or TOEFL) for international students.
- · Certified true copies of SPM/STPM/UEC/“N/O/A” Levels/Gao Kao/High School/Diploma/Degree transcripts and certificates.
- · Photocopy of your passport for international students.
- · Photocopy of your NRIC for Singaporeans/Singapore Permanent Residents
- · Certified true copy of your birth certificate for international students
- · Bank statement saving of equivalent S$30,000 (for international students)
- · Resume is required for professional courses for matured candidates.
All applicants must ensure that the information submitted must be complete, must not be fraudulent or misleading. CITECH reserves the right to reject the application if any of the information provided is found to be incomplete, misleading or fraudulent.
Please note that students are normally not allowed to be enrolled into a course after the course has commenced.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
- Upon acceptance of offer and payment made by students, CITECH will apply for the international student the student pass with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority Singapore (ICA). CITECH will notify students of the student pass application status upon approval by ICA.
APPLICATION OUTCOME
CITECH will usually take about 3 to 4 weeks to process each application. All applications will be assessed based on the admission criteria and individual merit. Applicants who do not meet the criteria will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All applicants will be notified of the outcome in writing. All successful applicants will receive the following package from CITECH:
- a. An official letter of Offer.
- b. PEI Standard Student’s Contract
- c. Advisory Note to Student (Form 12)
- d. Student Escrow Confirmation
- e. Checklist
To confirm the acceptance of offer, all applicants must return to the Admission Office a duly signed copy of the above items (a) to (d) and make payment to CITECH designated Escrow Account within the stipulated timeline.
